What does NativeClan sell?
We offer a vibrant selection of African-inspired clothing, accessories and jewelry, including Ankara dresses, tailored pieces, headwraps, handmade beaded accessories and statement jewelry.
What is Ankara fabric?
Ankara is a cotton wax-print fabric known for its bold patterns and striking colors. It is widely worn across West Africa and is loved for its vibrant designs.
Do I need African heritage to wear NativeClan pieces?
Not at all. We serve people celebrating African heritage, shoppers looking for unique, colorful pieces and anyone who wants meaningful fashion.
Who makes your pieces?
Our pieces blend traditional craftsmanship with modern style, and we honor the artisans and traditions behind every piece we offer.
What sizes do you carry?
Most clothing comes in sizes XS to 3XL, and tailored suits in sizes 36 to 52. Each product page lists its available sizes.
How do I tie a headwrap?
Fold the wrap lengthwise, center it at the nape of your neck, bring both ends up and twist or knot them at the front, then tuck in the ends. Visit the shop and we’ll gladly show you a few styles.
How should I care for Ankara prints?
Hand wash or machine wash cold, inside out, with similar colors. Hang to dry and iron on the reverse side to keep the colors vibrant.
Are your beaded accessories handmade?
Yes. Our beaded accessories are handmade, so every piece is a little different.
